This cute barnwood frame has a swatch of red in one of the corners. It needed a little something special. Originally I was going to paint a sign for the frame but a friend suggested a wreath instead.
Originally, I was going to use this lambs ear wreath. It is really pretty and just about the right size.
But then I found this candle ring in the bottom of my tub of "garage sale greenery". The red in this candle ring complemented the frame perfectly!
I used a scrap piece of buffalo plaid ribbon to hang the wreath in the center of the frame. I used a staple gun to secure the ribbon on the back of the frame. I am sure glue would have worked just as well.
The color of the candle ring and the buffalo plaid ribbon are perfect for this frame. It would fit into any small space or accent a larger grouping.
