I seem to come across enamel pie pans often. They occasionally sell at the booth, but they are not a top seller. I needed to think about how I could repurpose these into current farmhouse decor.

Chickens seem to be very popular decor right now so that seemed an easy place to start.

I made a vinyl stencil with my Silhouette Cameo and applied it to they pan.

I didn't think chalk paint was the right choice for this. I was concerned it would flake off of the enamel. So I used good old acrylic craft paint.

Now this piece stands out. It readily fits into any modern farmhouse decor. Sometimes you have to give vintage items a boost so they don't sit around and collect dust in your booth. This one was easy and I have several more of pie pans that will be getting a makeover.
