I found this watering can at the Allegan antique market last week. The spout was missing and it was dented in several places. It was also pretty dirty.

I cleaned it up and decided it needed a stencil.

I created this stencil with my Silhouette Cameo machine.

I applied the vinyl to the watering can.

This can already had some paint spatter in a light green color. I mixed some paint to match as close as possible.

After a couple of coats had dried, I peeled off the stencil and distressed it a bit. I added a clear coat to protect the paint. It also made the watering can look nicer.

Now it is ready to use. These flowers are fake. I live in the Midwest and it just warmed up a few days ago. Hopefully flowers are in our future soon.
