Egg-centric finds

Now that we are in Lent, it is time to start busting out the Easter decor. I haven't done it yet, but I do have some lovely egg items I display in my kitchen year-round.

The first one is this little beauty. This chocolate egg mold is only about 3 inches high. I picked it up on the 127 yard sale.

The above photo shows the inside of the mold. I can just imagine the delectable chocolate eggs that have been produced from this mold over the years.

This is an old advertising piece from a business in Buffalo, NY. It has a chain to be hung on the wall but I have it propped up on my cookbook bookshelf.

It is so precious, I can't even stand it! Such great artwork and you can barely make out the letters on the frame. The photo actually shows it better than in person! It is so sweet. I found this at an auction in a box lot. I knew I was coming home with this baby (and her chicks)!
